A Summary For - An Inconvenient Truth

Former vice president Al Gore presents a presentation about the global warming with charts and graphs. The charts show the quick increase in the world temperature and the increases in greenhouse gases. The graphs also show that in the last 1000 years the temperature rises the same as the CO2 which means we have to reduce the use of it because when there is more Carbon Dioxide the temperature will increase more. Al Gore gives examples of some places that 30 years ago were colder and now the ice on those places begin to melt. He also mentions that some countries will face serious problems because both northern and southern poles began to melt which will make the sea level to rise. In conclusion Al Gore said that everyone is responsible for his actions and everyone can solve this problem by reducing the use of CO2 and some other sources.

Purpose of the blog

I need to see the global warming is very important and must all the people in our live try to reduce as much as they can stop fire and CO2. Also I want to show how severe this problem for example, diseases, some location of the cities, affects of animals and small islands and house prices and children.

Meaning Of Global Warming

Carbon Dioxide and other gases warm the surface of the planet naturally by trapping solar heat in the atmosphere. This is a good thing because it keeps our planet habitable. However, by burning fossil fuels such as coal, gas and oil and clearing forests we have dramatically increased the amount of Carbon Dioxide in the earth's atmosphere and temperatures are rising.
we are already seeing changes. Glaciers are melting, plants and animals are being forced from their habitat, and the number of severe storms and droughts is increasing

Causes Of Global Warming

The main effect is an increasing global average temperature. From this flow a variety of resulting effects, namely, rising sea levels, altered patterns of agriculture, increased extreme weather events, and the expansion of the range of tropical diseases. In some cases, the effects may already be occurring, although it is generally difficult to attribute specific natural phenomena to long-term global warming. Proposed responses to the effects of global warming fall into two categories: mitigation and adaptation.

Effect of global warming in plant and animals

Global warming is having a significant impact on hundreds of plant and animal species around the world -- although the most dramatic effects may not be felt for decades, according to a new study in the journal Nature.

"Birds are laying eggs earlier than usual, plants are flowering earlier and mammals are breaking hibernation sooner," said Terry L. Root, a senior fellow with Stanford's Institute for International Studies (IIS) and lead author of the Jan. 2 Nature study.

"Clearly, if such ecological changes are now being detected when the globe has warmed by an estimated average of only 1 degree F (0.6 C) over the past 100 years, then many more far-reaching effects on species and ecosystems will probably occur by 2100, when temperatures could increase as much as 11 F (6 C)," Root concluded.

My opinion in Global Warming

The global warming is very important in our life and all the countries must safe our earth from gases and fire. I learn from this global warming how the cause of global warming and effect. Every body in this earth must help the government and the government must give advice the people how will not know about global warming and tell them about what is the cause of global warming and effect. Also we should try to use the result of what affected by Global Warming; for example, the result of the increases in sea level could be used in agriculture after reducing the salt concentration on it.
